Bob Frye successfully completed the Allegheny County Master Plumbers program in April 2006. Ed Frye successfully completed the Master’s program in April 2009. Both Bob and Ed are active members and officers in the Elrama Volunteer Fire Department. Bob has spent his entire life in Elrama and Ed since he was three years old and both Bob and Ed plan on spending the rest of their lives in this area so if you choose us for your plumbing needs we will be here to stand behind our work for years to come. |

ELIZABETH (KDKA) ― Elizabeth Fire Chief Leonard Bailey was laid to rest today three days after dying at the scene of a fire. Bailey, 56, died early Wednesday morning while responding to a suspicious blaze in an abandoned bar near his home. Officials say Bailey had a massive heart attack. Today, fire departments from around the area turned out for Bailey's funeral at the Bekevac Funeral Home in Elizabeth."It's like a fraternity," said Paul Brown, a Donora firefighter. "We all work together. It's respect so that's what we do.""He died in the line of duty," added Homestead Assistant Fire Chief John Rapp. "That's the chance we take everyday."In his community, Bailey also served as a Borough Council member."Lenny was the epitome of a public servant. He only served on Council for two years, but he served this community all of his life," says Monica Douglas, council president. "Anywhere you needed Lenny - he was there."Bailey is survived by his wife, mother, three daughters, a son, a sister and two grandchildren. A memorial fund has been set up for Bailey at the Elizabeth branch of PNC Bank. Checks can be made payable to Elizabeth Firemen's Association - Lenny Bailey Jr. Memorial Fund.
